LKQ have formally unveiled ambitious and impressive plans for their 450 acre site.
Following on from today's breakfast event at the Royal College of Physicians HQ the five year plan, which includes a new flagship development for RCP in Liverpool has been revealed.
This is yet more major investment for the region, strengthening its global position in innovation, science, technology, health, education and research sectors.
The LKQ is also a key part of the innovation corridor of Capenhurst Technology Park, Thornton Science Park, Sci-tech Daresbury, Birchwood Park’s Nuclear and Forensics Clusters as well as MSP Manchester, Alderley Park, Jodrell Bank and the Square Kilometre Array.
A £2bn vision to establish Liverpool's 450-acre Knowledge Quarter as one of the world's leading innovation districts, which includes creating a flagship campus development and a new railway station, has been unveiled. The plans to turn the Knowledge Quarter into a world-class destination for science, innovation, education, technology, and the creative and performing arts have been outlined at the London headquarters of the Royal College of Physicians to coincide with property conference MIPIM UK.
