Following on from my last post on skill shortages in our industry, with some much uncertainty on what Brexit actually means, and the impeding impact of restrictions on free movement. What will this mean for our industry, will there be an even greater squeeze on Labour or will there be a drive to upskill people across the UK?
6) May repeats her statements from Sunday that ending the jurisdiction of EU law and free movement from Europe are priorities. RM: There is no advance on her previous statements that she will not give a running commentary on how the negotiations will be achieved. She does not repeat her hackneyed “Brexit means Brexit” line, but it is clear she still thinks she can get away with refusing to elaborate on the settlement she would like to see for the UK.
