Another large scale development seems set for approval in Manchester. The outline application is due for review later this week and includes offices, apartments, hotels as well as care home and primary school.
Not only will this create jobs and opportunities in the finished development but also over the 15 - 20 year build period. With the number of large scale developments in Greater Manchester at an all time high it will be interesting to see how the local (and no so local) labour and suppliers cope.
Peel's ambitious proposals to build a £1bn scheme known as Trafford Waters, which involve creating up to 3,000 apartments and more than 860,000 sq ft of office space in Greater Manchester, look set to be given the green light.
